Ah, the life of a pastor...
Is there any better or more romantic way to spend your 2 year wedding anniversary than helping out with VBS all day at the church? Methinks not.
And it only gets better. I still remember the time we planned a big vacation to start on a Monday. That very morning before we took off we got a visit from a board member who wanted to say how much he would miss us while we were gone! Now how many employees get a visit from thier "boss" the first day of a vacation to tell them how much they will be missed!
I'm just a young Nazarene Youth Pastor who struggles everyday to do ministry that is impactful and theologically sound. I grow increasingly tired of the fluff and shallow nature that seems to accompany youth ministry in general. Join me as I embark on this journey, would you?
